Turning Power On/Off

Turn on the monitor first before turning on the PC or playback device.

To turn on the main power, use the main power switch. Connect/disconnect the power cord or turn the breaker on/off only when the main power switch is off. Wait at least 5 seconds when switching the main power switch or the POWER button off and back on.

Basic Operation

  • INPUT: Selects the input mode.
  • MUTE: Temporarily turns off the volume.
  • MENU: Displays and turns off the menu screen.
  • VOL +/-: Adjusts the volume.
  • BRIGHT +/-: Adjusts the brightness.
  • SIZE: Selects the screen size.
  • DISPLAY: Shows monitor information.
  • MODE: Changes the color mode (STD, VIVID, sRGB).

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause and Solution
No picture or sound. Check power cord connection and main power switch. Ensure correct input mode is selected. Verify external equipment is operating.
Remote control does not work. Check battery insertion and freshness. Point remote towards the sensor. Ensure menu display is not hidden or operation disabled.
Sound from left/right speakers is reversed or from only one side. Verify audio cable connections. Check BALANCE setting in the AUDIO menu.
Picture but no sound. Check if sound is muted or volume is too low. Verify audio cable connections. Check AUDIO SELECT and SPEAKER SELECT settings.
Unstable video. Signal may be incompatible. Try automatic screen adjustment. Adjust TOUCH PANEL MODE if needed.
Video from PC/AV HDMI or DVI-D input does not appear properly. Check HDMI/DVI INPUT SELECT settings. Ensure cable is HDMI standard compliant. Verify input signal compatibility. Try power cycling connected equipment.
Video from PC D-SUB, PC RGB, AV COMPONENT, or AV VIDEO does not appear correctly. Check BNC or D-SUB INPUT SELECT settings. Verify input signal compatibility.
Control buttons do not work. Interference from outside may be the cause. Turn off and on again after waiting 5 seconds.
Input mode changes automatically. AUTO INPUT CHANGE may be ON. This occurs when no signal is present or when a computer is in standby mode.
Touch panel does not respond. Check USB cable connection and touch panel driver installation. Ensure pen tip is not worn and battery is correctly inserted and charged.
Response of touch screen is slow. Screen may be exposed to direct sunlight. Check for obstacles between the transmitter/receiver and touch pen/finger. Ensure infrared transmitter/receiver is clean. Use a tip larger than 3/16 inch (4 mm). Avoid touching the panel when starting the computer or connecting the USB cable.
Power LED flashes red. "STATUS [xxxx]" appears. Hardware problem. Turn off and request repair.
Touch panel power LED lights red. Hardware problem. Turn off and request repair.
"AUTO DIMMING" is displayed. Monitor's internal temperature is high. Brightness decreases to prevent overheating. Remove the cause of excessive temperature rise.
Monitor makes a cracking sound. This is normal due to cabinet expansion/contraction with temperature changes and does not affect performance.
Power LED flashes red and green alternately. Internal temperature is high. Monitor may enter standby mode. Remove the cause of excessive temperature rise. Remove dust from vents.
