Basic Operation

\n

Input Mode Selection: Press INPUT to display the menu, use navigation buttons to select input, and ENTER to confirm. You can also use the monitor's input switch.

\n

Volume and Brightness: Use VOL +/- and BRIGHT +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust volume and brightness directly when the menu is not displayed.

\n

Mute: Press MUTE to temporarily turn off the sound. Press again to restore.

\n

Menu Navigation: Press MENU to display the menu screen. Use navigation buttons to select items and ENTER to confirm settings. RETURN goes back to the previous screen.

\n

Screen Size: Use the SIZE button to cycle through screen size options (WIDE, ZOOM 1, ZOOM 2, NORMAL, Dot by Dot).

\n

Display Information: Press the DISPLAY button to cycle through information screens (e.g., signal status, LAN communication).

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Cause/Solution
No picture or sound Check power cord, main power switch, standby mode. Select correct input mode. Ensure connected equipment is operating.
Remote control does not work Check battery insertion and condition. Point remote towards sensor. Check if menu is hidden or operation is disabled.
Sound from left/right speakers is reversed Check audio cable connections. Adjust BALANCE in the AUDIO menu.
Sound from only one side Check audio cable connections. Adjust BALANCE in the AUDIO menu.
Picture but no sound Check if sound is muted. Ensure volume is not at minimum. Check audio cable connections. Verify AUDIO SELECT setting.
Unstable video Signal may be incompatible. Use automatic screen adjustment for D-SUB[RGB] or DVI-I (analog).
Video from PC/AV HDMI input terminal does not appear properly Verify HDMI1/HDMI2 INPUT SELECT setting. Ensure HDMI cable is standard compliant. Check signal compatibility.
Video from DVI-I input terminal does not appear properly Verify EDID SELECT for DVI-I. Check signal compatibility. Power cycle connected equipment and monitors.
Video from PC/AV D-Sub input terminal does not appear correctly Verify D-SUB INPUT SELECT setting. Check signal compatibility. Power cycle connected equipment and monitors.
Video from DisplayPort does not appear properly Check signal compatibility.
Control buttons do not work External noise interference may be present. Power cycle the monitor.
Input mode changes automatically AUTO INPUT CHANGE is ON. Monitor automatically switches to a mode with a video signal when no signal is present in the selected mode. This can occur when the computer is in standby or video playback is stopped.
Power LED flashes red "STATUS [xxxx]" displayed indicates a hardware problem. Turn off monitor and request repair.
"AUTO DIMMING" displayed Internal temperature is too high. Backlight brightness is reduced automatically to prevent damage. Remove the cause of overheating.
Monitor makes a cracking sound Normal expansion/contraction of the cabinet due to temperature changes. Does not affect performance.
Power LED flashing red and green alternately Excessive internal temperature rise. "TEMPERATURE" displayed. Backlight dims. Monitor may enter standby mode. Remove cause of overheating. Check for blocked vents or dust.
