Basic Operation

  1. Press the MODE button to select the operation mode (AUTO, COOL, DRY).
  2. Press the ON/OFF button to start operation. The red OPERATION lamp will light up.
  3. Press the THERMOSTAT button to set the desired temperature.
  4. Press the FAN button to set the desired fan speed (AUTO, SOFT, LOW, HIGH).
  5. To turn off the unit, press the ON/OFF button again. The red OPERATION lamp will turn off.

Adjusting Air Flow Direction

  • Vertical: Press the SWING button (▼) to adjust the vertical louvre.
  • Horizontal: Press the SWING button (▶) to adjust the horizontal louvres.

Special Modes

  • GENTLE COOL AIR: Press the GENTLE COOL AIR button for a gentler cooling experience.
  • POWERFUL JET OPERATION: Press the POWERFUL JET button for rapid cooling.
  • PLASMACLUSTER OPERATION: Press the PLASMACLUSTER button to release ions for air purification.
  • SELF CLEAN OPERATION: Press the SELF CLEAN button when the unit is not operating to dry the interior and reduce mold.

Timer Functions

  • ONE-HOUR OFF TIMER: Press the ONE-HOUR OFF TIMER button to automatically turn off after one hour.
  • TIMER OFF: Set a specific time for the unit to turn off.
  • TIMER ON: Set a specific time for the unit to turn on. Timers can be combined.

Troubleshooting and error codes

ConditionPossible CauseSolution
UNIT DOES NOT OPERATE Unit turned on immediately after being turned off, or mode was just changed. Wait 3 minutes before operating.
ODORS Carpet and furniture odors entering the unit. Odors may be emitted.
CRACKING NOISE Friction of front panel and components expanding/contracting due to temperature change. Normal sound.
LOW BUZZING NOISE Unit is generating Plasmacluster ions. Normal sound.
SWISHING NOISE Refrigerant flowing inside the unit. Normal sound.
WATER VAPOUR Visible at the air outlet in COOL/DRY mode due to temperature difference. Normal condition.
ODOR EMITTED FROM PLASMACLUSTER AIR OUTLET Ozone generated by Plasmacluster Ion generator. Ozone concentration is very small and poses no health risk. Rapidly decomposes.
Unit fails to operate Circuit breaker tripped or fuse blown. Check circuit breaker/fuse.
Unit fails to cool effectively Dirty filters, blocked outdoor unit, incorrect thermostat setting, open windows/doors, too many people, heat-generating appliances. Clean filters, check outdoor unit, adjust thermostat, close windows/doors, manage room occupancy, check appliances.
Fails to receive remote control signal Weak or old batteries, obstruction between remote and unit, incorrect battery installation. Replace batteries, ensure clear line of sight, check battery polarity.
