- Basic Operation: Press MODE to select AUTO, HEAT, COOL, DRY, or FAN ONLY. Press ON/OFF to start/stop. Use THERMO to set temperature (18-32°C in HEAT/COOL modes). Use FAN to set fan speed (AUTO, HIGH, LOW, SOFT).
- Auto Mode: Temperature and mode are automatically selected based on room and outdoor temperatures.
- Timer Functions: TIMER OFF allows automatic shutdown. TIMER ON allows automatic startup. They can be used together.
- Full Power Mode: Activates maximum power for rapid cooling/heating, automatically cancels after one hour.
- One-Hour Timer: Unit operates for one hour after setting.
- Auxiliary Mode: Use when the remote is unavailable. Press AUX. button on the unit to turn on/off in AUTO mode.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Condition | Possible Cause & Solution |

| UNIT DOES NOT OPERATE | Unit may not operate immediately after being turned off or mode changed to protect the mechanism. Wait 3 minutes. |
| WARM AIR DOESN'T COME OUT | Unit is preheating or de-icing. |
| LOW NOISE | This is the sound of the refrigerant flowing. |
| ODORS | A peculiar odor may be emitted from the unit, possibly from carpet or furniture. |
| WATER VAPOUR | In COOL/DRY, may be seen at the air outlet due to temperature differences. In HEAT, may come out of the outdoor unit during de-icing. |
| IF THE UNIT FAILS TO OPERATE | Check if the circuit breaker has tripped or the fuse has blown. |
| IF THE UNIT FAILS TO COOL OR HEAT EFFECTIVELY | Check and clean filters. Ensure windows/doors are closed. Check outdoor unit for obstructions. Limit the number of people in the room. Check thermostat setting. Check for heat-generating appliances. |
| IF THE UNIT FAILS TO RECEIVE REMOTE CONTROL SIGNAL | Check remote control batteries (age, weak). Ensure proper signal transmission by pointing the remote correctly. Check battery polarity. |
