The thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature. Rotate the knob from 1 to 5 to adjust. For colder weather, set it higher to reduce energy consumption.
Consider door opening frequency and food quantity. The fridge is designed for various ambient temperatures. If colder than -5°C, refrigerator compartment contents may freeze. Special algorithms help maintain low ambient conditions. Allow up to 24 hours for initial cooling. Wait 5 minutes before restarting after power interruption.
Located in the coldest area, it shows "OK" when the temperature is set correctly. Allow 12 hours for temperature stabilization after adjustments.
Store food in the coldest area (above the crisper). For freshness, adjust the humidity controller in the crisper. Clean regularly and avoid hot foods. Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers. Do not mix certain fruits and vegetables.
Use for long-term frozen food storage and ice making. Freeze fresh food by maximizing contact with cooling surfaces. Do not place fresh food next to frozen food. Divide fresh food into portions. Consume thawed food promptly. Follow package instructions for storage life.
Unplug the fridge before cleaning. Use a soft cloth with warm, soapy water. Clean the condenser annually. Do not use harsh chemicals.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fridge not operating | Power failure? Plugged in? Fuse blown? Socket faulty? | Check power, plug, fuse, and try a different socket. |
| Fridge not cooling enough | Temperature setting? Door opened frequently? Door not closed properly? Items touching back wall? Overfilled? Insufficient clearance? Ambient temperature too high/low? | Adjust thermostat, ensure door is closed, check for obstructions, allow clearance, ensure ambient temp is within range. |
| Food in refrigerator overcooled | Temperature setting too low? Recently added a lot of food? | Adjust thermostat, check if recently loaded with large quantity of food. |
| Fridge operating too loudly | Normal compressor noise? Appliance unstable? Items vibrating? | Check if stable, adjust legs, reposition items. |
| Cracking noise | Automatic defrosting? Appliance cooling/warming? Thermostat activating/deactivating compressor? | Normal during defrosting, cooling/warming, or thermostat changes. |
| Bubbling/splashing noise | Refrigerant flow? | Normal during system operation. |
| Water flow noise | Defrosting to evaporation container? | Normal during defrosting. |
| Air blowing noise | Normal fan noise? | Normal during No-Frost operation. |
| Humidity buildup | Food not packaged properly? Doors opened frequently? Moisture on back wall? | Package food correctly, limit door openings, check moisture on back wall (normal after defrosting in static models). |
| Doors not closing properly | Food packages obstructing? Compartments/shelves misplaced? Door gaskets torn? Appliance not level? | Check for obstructions, ensure proper placement, check gaskets, level the appliance. |
| Door edges warm | Compressor running? Ambient temperature high? | Normal, especially in summer when the compressor is running. |
