This manual provides instructions for use, safety, and maintenance of your SHARP fridge freezer.

Using Your Fridge Freezer

  • Thermostat Setting: Automatically regulates temperature. Rotate knob from 1 to 5. Lower settings for colder seasons to save energy. Settings 1-2 for short-term freezer storage, 3-4 for long-term, 5-MAX for freezing fresh food.
  • Temperature Adjustments: Adjust based on door opening frequency and food quantity. The fridge works in various ambient temperatures but is designed for 10°C - 43°C. Below -5°C, the refrigerator compartment may freeze food.
  • Temperature Indicator: Located in the coldest area. Ensure "OK" appears for optimal food storage. Adjust setting progressively and wait at least 12 hours for stabilization.
  • Food Storage: Use coldest area for perishables. Store raw meat/fish in suitable containers. Do not store hot food. Cover dishes.
  • Accessories: Use ice tray, humidity controller (if available), and Adapti-Lift door shelves.
  • Cleaning: Unplug before cleaning. Use a soft cloth with warm, soapy water. Clean condenser annually.
  • Troubleshooting: Check power, fuses, thermostat settings, door closure, and distance from walls if the fridge isn't operating or cooling properly.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Fridge operating too loudly Appliance not stable? Adjust feet to level the appliance.
Obstruction behind fridge? Check and remove obstructions.
Shelves or items vibrating? Rearrange shelves or items.
