Chapter 1: General Warnings

  • Ensure proper ventilation, avoid mechanical defrosting aids, and do not use electrical appliances inside the fridge.
  • Handle the refrigerant circuit with care and avoid trapping or damaging the power cord.
  • The appliance is intended for household use and similar applications.
  • Ensure the mains supply matches the appliance's requirements (220-240V, 50Hz).
  • Supervision is required for children aged 8 and above, and vulnerable individuals.
  • To avoid food contamination, minimize door opening times, clean surfaces regularly, and store raw meat/fish separately.
  • Dispose of packaging responsibly. Cut off the power supply and disable the door catch when scrapping the appliance.
  • Install the fridge away from direct sunlight and heat sources, with adequate clearance.
  • Ensure the appliance is level using the adjustable feet.
  • Before first use, let the fridge stand upright for at least 3 hours. A slight odor is normal initially.

Chapter 2: Your Fridge Freezer

  • Diagrams illustrating the freezer and fridge compartments with labeled parts.
  • Notes on efficient energy use for both compartments.

Chapter 3: Using Your Fridge Freezer

  • Thermostat Setting: Adjust the knob from 1 to 5 (5 being coldest). Do not turn beyond position 1.
  • Warnings for Temperature Settings: Avoid environments below 10°C. Consider ambient temperature, food quantity, and door opening frequency. Allow 24 hours for initial cooling. A 5-minute delay prevents compressor damage.
  • Temperature Indicator: Use the "OK" indicator in the coldest area for optimal food storage. Allow 12 hours for temperature stabilization after adjustments.
  • Food Storage in Coldest Area: The coldest area is above the crisper. Ensure the shelf is at the indicated level.
  • Accessories: Includes an ice tray.
  • Cleaning: Unplug the appliance. Use a damp, soapy cloth. Clean condenser annually.
  • Defrosting: Refrigerator compartment defrosts automatically. Freezer compartment requires periodic defrosting. Set thermostat to "5" before defrosting. Wrap frozen food.
  • Replacing Light Bulb: Unplug, remove cover, replace with max 15W bulb, reassemble.
  • Replacing LED Lighting: Contact customer service.

Chapter 4: Food Storage Guidance

  • Refrigerator Compartment: Avoid unsealed liquids. Cool hot food before storing. Prevent items touching the back wall. Use the coldest area for perishable items. Optimal temperature is +4°C (range 0-8°C). Do not put hot food directly in. Store meat/fish in chiller, vegetables in crisper. Prevent cross-contamination. Use covered containers.
  • Freezer Compartment: For long-term storage and ice cubes. Ensure maximum contact with cooling surface when freezing. Do not place fresh food next to frozen food. Portion food. Consume thawed food quickly. Do not place warm food in. Follow package instructions for storage times. Check packaging for integrity. Transport frozen food in a cooler bag. Signs of thawing/refreezing include humidity and swelling. Storage life depends on various factors. A slight suction when closing the door is normal.
  • Important Note: Thawed food must be cooked like fresh food and never refrozen. Spice taste may change over time. Oil suitability varies. Freeze liquids in cups, other foods in bags/folios.

Chapter 5: Troubleshooting

  • Refrigerator not working: Check power, thermostat setting.
  • Compartments not cold enough: Check for overloading, door closure, condenser dust, and ventilation space.
  • Appliance too noisy: Normal noises include bubbling (refrigerant) and compressor operation. Check leveling, and ensure nothing is touching the rear or vibrating.
  • Water in lower refrigerator part: Check drain hole for clogs.
  • Recommendations: Unplug during power cuts. Allow 5-10 minutes before plugging back in. Water droplets on the rear wall are normal. For long periods of non-use, set thermostat to "•", clean, and leave door open. Consult service if problems persist.

Chapter 6: Tips for Saving Energy

  • Always cool food before storing.
  • Thaw food in the refrigerator compartment.
