Why is the access speed so slow?Close the applications currently opened. Try to connect another ISP or try connecting at another time.
Why can't I access the LAN?Confirm cable connection, network configuration, and user name/password.
Why can't I detect the access point on my computer?Confirm access point power, antenna indicator, restart computer, ensure wireless LAN is enabled, and re-enable wireless network connection.
Why can't I connect to the network via an access point?Confirm wireless LAN antennas are enabled, any available network is selected, network name matches, and WEP key is correct. Disable IEEE802.1x authentication if accidentally enabled.
Why can't I communicate with other computers through wireless LAN?Confirm antennas are enabled, each computer is wireless LAN enabled, and computer-to-computer networks are selected. Adjust distance and obstructions. Confirm IP address and subnet mask. Confirm WEP keys.
How can I detect the MAC address?Use Command Prompt and type 'ipconfig/all'. Check Physical Address under Ethernet adapter.
Why don't peripheral devices function?Confirm correct connection, Windows XP compliance, and driver installation.
Why can't I print?Ensure printer is on, connected, ready, has paper, and driver is installed. Add printer if not installed.

Why is my MC series recognized as a removable disk or why cannot I access it through my host computer?Cancel password using Password Utility. Connect MC series and host computer, open Password Utility, and click Cancel. Stop the device, unplug DirectHD cable, and reconnect.

Why is the MC series is not powered on?Disconnect MC series from host computer. Disconnect AC adapter, remove battery, reinstall battery, reconnect AC adapter, and turn on power.
Why is the battery pack discharged so quickly?Initialize the battery pack.
Why is the date and/or time incorrect?Correct date and time in Windows via Date and Time Properties dialog box.
Why can't I use a hardware device?Check Device Manager for 'X' mark. Ensure device is enabled.
Why can't I produce sound?Check Windows volume via the speaker symbol on the taskbar.
Why can't I turn off my computer?Follow instructions for keyboard or glide pad function issues.
Why my computer is so hot?Normal for surrounding area or keyboard front to be hot during charging.
Why can't I record the sound from the microphone?Adjust speaker volume, select Recording, and ensure Microphone is checked. Confirm 'Select' is checked in Microphone of Recording Control.
Why can't find the drivers and applications?They are stored on the last recovery disk. Consult local service staff if unsure or CD is missing drivers/applications.
