Quick Setup
Turn on the computer by pressing the power switch. Follow on-screen prompts for Windows Me setup, which may take 5-10 minutes. This includes configuring location, language, keyboard, accepting the license agreement, registering the computer, and finalizing settings.
Basic Operations
The computer has status indicators for CD, Hard Disk, Floppy Disk, Num Lock, Caps Lock, and Scroll Lock. You can choose between AC power from a wall outlet or a rechargeable battery. The AC adapter provides power and charges the battery.
Troubleshooting and error codes

| Why doesn't the power switch function? | Make sure the AC power cable is correctly connected to a live wall outlet. If using batteries, they may be discharged. Press the reset switch on the bottom of the computer. |
| Why doesn't Windows start? | Check for a non-system disk in the floppy drive. Ensure the disk is fully inserted. Check the Diskette Drive setting in the Setup Utility's Boot menu. |
| Why do I get "Invalid system disk" message? | Remove the non-bootable disk from the floppy drive. If booting from the hard disk, insert a bootable disk and check the hard disk status. |
| Why do I get the message Operating system not found? | If starting from the hard disk, insert the boot up disk into the floppy drive and check the hard disk condition. |
| Why do I get "Press <F1> to resume, <F2> to setup" message? | The Setup utility setting is deleted. Enter the Setup utility and set it to a default value. |
