  • Turning on the TV: Press the POWER switch on the TV set, then the STANDBY/ON button on the remote or a CHANNEL button on the TV set.
  • Battery Operation: Connect the DC power cord to a 12V battery. Press the DC Power switch, then the STANDBY/ON button.
  • Changing Channels: Use the CHANNEL UP/DOWN buttons on the remote or TV set, or the number buttons on the remote for direct selection.
  • Adjusting Volume: Use the VOLUME UP/DOWN buttons on the remote or TV set.
  • On-Screen Display (OSD): Select language via the FUNCTION button and CHANNEL UP/DOWN buttons.
  • Presetting Channels: Use Full Auto Channel Preset (AUTO) or Manual Channel Preset (MANUAL).
  • Fine Tuning: Use FUNCTION and VOLUME buttons to fine-tune picture reception.
  • Flashback: Use the FLASHBACK button to switch back to the previous channel.
  • Skipping Channels: Set channels to skip using the FUNCTION and VOLUME buttons.
  • Picture Adjustment: Use the PICTURE button and VOLUME UP/DOWN to adjust CONTRAST, COLOUR, BRIGHTNESS, TINT, and SHARPNESS.
  • Timers: Set Reminder, OFF Timer, or ON Timer using the TIMER button.
  • Colour and Sound System: Use the SYSTEM button to select the appropriate colour and sound system.
  • Function Adjustment: Adjust BLUE BACK, WHITE TEMP, SOUND MUTE via the FUNCTION button.
  • Call: Use the CALL button to display current channel, timer, and other settings.
  • TV/VIDEO: Switch between TV broadcast and AV input using the TV/VIDEO button.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Possible Causes/Remedies
Try a new channel to check for possible station trouble
TV not plugged in
Outlet power OFF
POWER (①) switch of TV not ON
Antenna not connected to terminal at the rear of the TV set
If outside antenna is used, check for broken wires
Check for local interference
Turn OFF using the POWER (①) switch, then turn ON again after a minute
Adjust COLOUR control
Check batteries in the remote control
Try fine tuning to correct
Contrast setting in picture mode might be all the way to the minus side. Press the NORMAL button on the remote control to correct
Increase the volume
Change the battery
