Basic Operation: 1. Turning on the TV: Press the 'STANDBY/ON' button on the remote control or the 'POWER' button on the TV set. The power indicator will light up. 2. Selecting Programmes: Use the 'CHANNEL UP/DOWN' buttons on the remote control or the TV set to cycle through channels. You can also directly enter the programme number using the numeric buttons on the remote. 3. Adjusting Volume: Use the 'VOLUME UP/DOWN' buttons on the remote control or the TV set to increase or decrease the sound level. Picture Adjustment: 1. Press 'MENU' to call the main menu. 2. Select 'PICTURE' using the CH /▽ buttons and press. 3. Select the desired item (CONTRAST, COLOUR, BRIGHTNESS, SHARPNESS) using the CH /▽ buttons. 4. Adjust the selected item using the or buttons. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for other picture settings. 6. Select 'N' (NORMAL) and press to reset to factory settings. 7. Press 'EXIT' to clear the on-screen display. Timer Setting (ON Timer): 1. Press 'MENU' to call the main menu. 2. Select 'TIMER' and press. 3. Select 'ON' mode and press. 4. Set the desired ON time using the or buttons. 5. Press to put the TV into standby mode. Timer Setting (OFF Timer): 1. Press 'MENU' to call the main menu. 2. Select 'TIMER' and press. 3. Select 'OFF' mode and press. 4. Set the desired OFF time using the or buttons. 5. Press to set the timer. Child Lock: 1. Press 'MENU' to call the main menu. 2. Select 'LOCK' and press. 3. Select the programme number to lock using the numeric or CH /▽ buttons. 4. Press to select 'LOCK'. The 'OTI' mark will appear. 5. Repeat for other programmes. 6. Press 'EXIT' to return to normal viewing. To unlock, press the 'OTI' button and then the programme number.

Troubleshooting and error codes
