Camera Part and Connector Definition

• Alarm out terminal: Yellow wire, COM port.
• Alarm in terminal: Red wire for alarm, Orange for GND.
• Power IN connector: White for Power-, Black for Power+. Accepts DC12V / AC24V.
• Audio out: Black audio jack (3.5mm).
• Audio in: White audio jack (3.5mm).
• IP/TV switch: Selects between Video out through Ethernet (IP) or BNC composite video (TV) for installation.
• Reset button: System re-start.
• Default button: Press for 5 seconds to return to factory default settings.

Installing the Camera

SD Memory Card Precautions

• Install before powering on the camera.
• Be aware of rewrite limits; periodic replacement is recommended.
• Supports specific SD card sizes (64MB to 2GB, 3.3V).
• Unsupported cards may cause recording/reading errors.
• Large capacity cards (1GB-2GB) recommended for loop recording.
• Do not use cards with data from other devices or modify data on the card.
• Recorded data may not be compatible with standard file formats.

Power Adapter Precautions

• Use only the specified power adapter to avoid malfunction, overheating, or fire.
• Do not let connectors touch metal objects.
• Firmly insert the plug into the power terminal.
• Disconnect by holding the plug, not the cable.
• Avoid hot and humid environments.
• Buzzing noises are normal.
• Keep away from radios, TVs, and cell phones to prevent interference.

Connecting the Camera and Personal Computer by Network

IP Address Settings

• Manual IP setting (default: 192.168.0.10).
• Automatic IP setting via DHCP server (ensure DHCP is ON in Network settings/Basic).
• For manual IP, set DHCP to OFF and configure IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, and DNS servers.

Connection Configuration

• Crossover connection or connection via hub, switch, or router.
• Ensure PC IP address is in the same subnet as the camera.
• For multiple cameras, assign unique IP addresses.

Using the Camera Search Application "IpFinder"

• Install from CD.
• Search for cameras and view live images.
• Double-click to log in with administrator credentials (default: admin/admin).

Log-in Screen

• Access via Internet Explorer or Firefox (with IE Tab plug-in).
• Enter default IP address (192.168.0.10).
• Administrator login grants full function access.
• IMPORTANT: Change default administrator ID and password for security.

Viewing and Listening

• View images through your computer's Internet browser.
• Enable cookies and adjust security settings in Internet Options.
• For proxy server users, configure browser settings to bypass proxy for the camera's IP address.

Camera Image Screen

• Displays live video, OSD (On-Screen Display) options, microphone, speaker, playback controls, language selection, and PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) controls.
• Supports multiple image streams (JPEG/MPEG4).
