Warranty Information
Refer to the service contract with Siemens for warranty information.
General Operation Guidelines
- Ensure gas supply is disconnected before disassembling.
- Mains power cable must be disconnected and power switch set to Off.
- Internal battery must be disconnected when the power section is open.
- Clean all gas conveying parts as per the Operating Manual.
- Exercise caution with energized electrical components when power is connected and covers are removed.
Installation
- Only trained and authorized Siemens personnel can install the KION / KION-i workstation.
- Refer to "Installation Instructions" for detailed procedures.
Maintenance and Service
- Perform Calibration and Function Check after any intervention.
- Service must be performed by trained and authorized personnel.
- Note all service and maintenance in a log book.
- Preventive maintenance is required every six months or twelve months/3000 hours, whichever comes first.
- Internal battery replacement is due every three years.
Troubleshooting and error codes
