Operating the appliance: This appliance only works when it is completely extended. Switch on the extractor hood when you start cooking and switch it off again several minutes after you have finished cooking for the most effective removal of kitchen fumes.
Extending/retracting: Press the button to extend; press and hold the button for two seconds to retract. Ensure the area is clear before operating.
Fan settings: Adjust fan strength as needed. Use the + and - buttons to change settings. Intensive setting is available for strong odours/fumes and automatically reverts after 10 minutes.
Fan run-on time: Press the button to allow the fan to run for 15 minutes at level 1 before auto shut-off. Press the button to end early.
Lighting: Press the button to switch on/off. Press and hold for 2 seconds to dim; press the button to reset to maximum brightness.
Saturation display: Symbols for grease and carbon filters will flash when saturated, indicating cleaning or replacement is needed.
