Basic Operation:

The appliance can be switched on/off using the ON/OFF button. Programme buttons allow selection of wash cycles. The Info button provides details on programmes, settings, and functions. A reset function is available.

Programme Selection:

Additional Functions: HygienePlus, IntensiveZone, Shine & Dry, VarioSpeedPlus can enhance cleaning and drying.

Settings: Basic settings and time can be adjusted. Home Connect app allows remote control and access to further functions.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Fault Cause and troubleshooting
E:3200 or indicator for water supply lights up. Water tap is jammed or furred up. Turn on the water tap. The flow rate must be at least 10 l/min when the water supply is open. Filters in the water connection of the supply or AquaStop hose are blocked. Switch off appliance, pull mains plug, turn off water tap, unscrew water connection, remove and clean filter, re-insert filter, screw connection back on, check for leaks, restore power, switch on appliance.
E:3400 lights up. Water is continuously running into the appliance. Turn off the water tap. Call Customer Service.
E:6102 lights up. Wastewater pump is blocked or cover is loose. Clean the wastewater pump. Secure the cover of the wastewater pump.
E:6103 lights up. Water is not drained. Siphon connection is still closed or wastewater hose is kinked or blocked. Check connection to siphon, install hose without kinks, remove residues. Wastewater pump is blocked or cover is loose. Clean pump, secure cover.
E:9240 lights up. Filters are soiled or blocked. Clean the filters.
All LEDs lit up or flashing. Software update installing. Wait up to 30 minutes. If appliance not ready, perform reset (press main switch button 4 secs). If problem persists, electronics fault detected. Reset appliance. If problem persists, switch off, pull plug/switch off fuse, wait 2 mins, switch on fuse/insert plug, switch on appliance. If problem persists, contact customer service.
Remnants of food on tableware. Tableware placed too close together or basket overfilled. Arrange with space, avoid contact points. Spray arm rotation blocked. Arrange tableware to avoid obstruction. Spray arm nozzles blocked. Clean spray arms. Filters soiled. Clean filters. Filters inserted incorrectly/not engaged. Insert and engage filters. Washing programme selected too weak. Select more intensive programme, adjust sensor sensitivity. Tableware precleaned too intensely. Remove large remnants, do not prerinse, adjust sensor sensitivity. Tall narrow receptacles in corner areas not rinsed. Do not position at angle or in corner areas. Top baskets on right/left not same height. Set to same height.
Removable streaks are present on glasses, glassware with a metallic appearance and cutlery. Amount of rinse aid too high. Set rinse aid system lower. No rinse aid added. Add rinse aid. Detergent residue in final rinse. Detergent dispenser lid blocked. Arrange tableware in top basket so tablet collecting tray not obstructed. Items of tableware blocking dispenser lid. Do not place tableware/fragrance dispensers in tablet collecting tray. Tableware precleaned too intensely. Remove large remnants, do not prerinse, adjust sensor sensitivity.
Rust spots on cutlery. Cutlery not rust-resistant. Use rust-resistant tableware. Cutlery washed with rusting items. Do not wash rusting items. Salt content in washing water too high. Remove spilled salt, screw dispenser cap tight.
Detergent residue is present in the detergent dispenser or the tablet collecting tray. Spray arms blocked by tableware. Check spray arms are not blocked and can rotate freely. Detergent dispenser damp when detergent added. Only add detergent to dry dispenser.
Special salt refill indicator lights up. Insufficient special salt. Add special salt. Sensor does not detect special salt tablets. Do not use special salt tablets.
