Troubleshooting and error codes

Fault Possible cause Solution
Appliance does not work Mains plug not inserted correctly. Check whether the mains plug is properly inserted into the socket.
Fuse is switched off or defective. Check fuse, replace if necessary.
Power failure. Check the power supply.
Odors from the interior Interior is dirty. Clean the interior.
Certain foods, containers or packaging are causing odors. Store foods in airtight containers.
The motor runs continuously Temperature is set too low. Try to rectify the problem by increasing the set temperature.
A large quantity of warm food was recently placed in the appliance. Wait for the appliance to cool down.
Ambient temperature is too high. Relocate the appliance to a cooler location.
The doors were open for too long or opened too often. Ensure the doors are closed properly.
Ice layer forms in the interior Defrosting is taking place automatically. This is normal; wait for the defrosting to complete. If ice layer is too thick, empty the ice cube container and clean the appliance.
Temperature in the appliance is too high Air vents are blocked; insufficient ventilation; door is not closed properly. Ensure air vents are not blocked by food items and allow for proper ventilation. Ensure the door is properly closed.
Doors close heavily Doors were open for too long or too often; doors were held open by an obstruction; appliance is not installed with a slight backward tilt. Do not leave doors open unnecessarily. Check that the appliance is tilted slightly backwards. Check for obstructions preventing doors from closing.
The light does not work The LED lighting has switched off automatically because the door was open for too long. Close and reopen the door to switch the light back on.
LED lighting is defective. Have the LED lighting replaced.
