Switching the appliance on

When switching on the appliance, the display lights up.

Setting the temperature

  • Freezer compartment: -14 °C to -24 °C (recommended: -18 °C)
  • Refrigerator compartment: +2 °C to +8 °C (recommended: +4 °C)

Super Cooling

Cools the refrigerator compartment to the lowest possible temperature.

Super Freezing

Cools the freezer compartment to a very low temperature to freeze food quickly.

Defrosting

  • Freezer compartment: Automatic (NoFrost system)
  • Refrigerator compartment: Automatic

Cleaning

Ensure the appliance is unplugged. Clean with a soft cloth and mild detergent. Do not use steam cleaners or abrasive agents. Ensure door seals are clean and dry. Allow interior to dry completely before plugging in and switching on.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Motor runs constantly It is normal for the motor noise to be heard frequently. The motor may run more often under the following circumstances: Temperature is set colder than necessary. A large quantity of warm food was recently placed in the appliance. Ambient temperature is too high. Doors were open for a long time or were opened too often. After commissioning or when the appliance was switched off for a long time. Try to solve the problem by lowering the set temperature. Check that air outlets are not blocked by food and that food is placed so that adequate ventilation is ensured. Check whether the door is properly closed. To remove ice layer: see "Cleaning the appliance". Do not open doors unnecessarily or longer than needed; check the clearance around the appliance.
A layer of frost forms in the interior Air outlets are blocked; insufficient ventilation; door is not properly closed. Check that air outlets are not blocked by food and that food is placed so that adequate ventilation is ensured. Check whether the door is properly closed. Temperature in the appliance is too high Doors were opened for too long or too often; or the doors were held open by an obstruction; or the appliance was set up with insufficient clearance on the sides, bottom or top. The appliance is not tilted backwards by approx. 15 mm. Something in the interior is hindering the doors from closing. Do not open doors unnecessarily or longer than needed; check the clearance around the appliance. Check the tilt and correct if necessary by turning the adjusting feet. Check the interior and remove the obstruction.

The lighting does not work The LED lighting has automatically switched off because the door was open for too long. The LED lighting is defective. Close and reopen the door to switch the lighting back on. Have the LED lighting replaced (see "LED Lighting").
