Using the Appliance

Switching On

Upon connecting the appliance, it switches on automatically. An audible warning tone sounds. Press the "alarm off" button to silence the tone. The "alarm off" indicator extinguishes once the set temperature is reached.

Setting the Temperature

**Freezer Compartment:** Adjustable from -16 °C to -24 °C. Select the freezer compartment using the selection button, then use the temperature adjustment buttons to set the desired temperature. The last set value is saved and displayed. **Fridge Compartment:** Adjustable from 2 °C to 8 °C. Select the fridge compartment using the selection button, then use the temperature adjustment buttons to set the desired temperature. The last set value is saved and displayed.

Special Functions

Fresh Mode: Keeps food fresh longer. Automatically sets fridge to +2 °C, freezer unchanged. Activate/deactivate by pressing the 'fresh' button. Eco Mode: Switches to energy-saving mode. Automatically sets freezer to -16 °C and fridge to +6 °C. Activate/deactivate by pressing the 'eco' button. Vacation Mode: For longer absences. Fridge temperature automatically adjusts to +14 °C. Freezer temperature remains unchanged. Activate/deactivate by pressing the 'vacation' button. Lock Function: Prevents unintended operation. Activate/deactivate by pressing the 'lock' button.

Defrosting

Freezer: No manual defrosting required due to NoFrost system. Fridge: Defrosts automatically. Drip water runs to a tray at the back.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Temperature deviates significantly from the set value. Power failure; fuse has tripped; the plug is not properly inserted into the socket. In some cases, switching off the appliance for 5 minutes is sufficient. Check if power is available. Check the fuses.

The lighting does not work. The light switch is stuck. The lighting is defective. Check if the light switch can be moved. (See "Lighting" chapter.)
The appliance is not cooling. Power failure. The fuse has tripped. Check if power is available. Check the fuse.
The lighting does not work. The display is not illuminated. The plug is not properly inserted into the socket. Check if the plug is properly inserted into the socket.
The compressor switches on more frequently and for longer periods. The appliance door was opened too often. The ventilation and air outlets are blocked. Large quantities of fresh food were frozen. Do not open the appliance door unnecessarily. Remove blockages. Do not exceed the maximum freezing capacity.
