Step 1: Connect up the base unit
Connect the line cord and the power cable to the base unit and then to the power outlet.
Step 2: Put the handset into operation
Insert the approved rechargeable batteries into the handset, ensuring correct polarity. Remove the protective foil from the display.
Step 3: Place the handset on the base unit
Register your handset with the base unit by placing it on the base unit. The display will show "REGISTER HS".
Step 4: Charge the batteries
Leave the handset on the base unit for approximately five hours to fully charge the batteries.

Calling: Enter the call number and press the off-hook key, or place the handset on the base unit.
Accepting a call: Press the off-hook key when the phone rings.
Redialing: Press the redial key to access the last five numbers dialed.

Question	Possible cause	Possible solution
Nothing appears on the display.	The batteries are empty.	Charge or replace the batteries. (see page 8).
No response to keystroke.	The key lock is switched on.	Hold down the 🔑 key.
No radio link to the base unit - the following message appears on the display: "----*"	The handset is outside the range of the base unit.	Reduce the distance between the handset and the base unit.
	The handset is not registered with the base unit.	Register the handset with the base unit (see page 13).
	The base unit is not switched on.	Check the power plug on the base unit (see page 6).
The number of the caller is not displayed in spite of CLIP (see page 11).	Number transmission is disabled.	The caller must apply to the network provider to have his or her number transmitted.
