Contact after-sales service if you cannot rectify faults yourself. Use original spare parts.
| Faults | Cause/remedy |
|---|---|
| Please empty the condensate container on the display panel and the drying cycle is interrupted. | Empty the condensate container. If the optional condensation drain* is installed, the drain hose may be blocked or kinked. Check the hose for deposits and rinse the hose. Lay the hose without any kinks. |
| Please clean the fluff filters on the display panel. | Clean the fluff filter and press the Start button. |
| Heat exchanger is being rinsed on the display panel. | Not a fault. The heat exchanger is cleaned automatically. Do not pull out the condensate container while this is displayed. |
| Dryer does not start. | Mains plug plugged in or fuse checked? Programme selected? Dryer door open? Childproof lock activated? "Ready in" time selected? |
| Creasing. | Creasing occurs when you have exceeded the maximum load or selected the wrong programme for the type of fabric. Remove clothes immediately after drying; creasing may occur if they are left in the drum. |
| Water is leaking out. | Not a fault; the dryer may be positioned on an incline. Level the dryer. |
| Change in the programme duration displayed during drying. | Not a fault. The moisture sensors detect the remaining moisture in the load and adjust the programme length (except timed programmes). |
| Laundry is not dried correctly or is still too damp. | Spread the laundry out and allow heat to disperse. Finely adjust the dryness level. Select a programme with a longer drying time or increase the drying level. Select a timed programme for subsequent drying. Check maximum load. Clean the moisture sensor. Drying interrupted due to power cut, full condensate container or exceeded maximum time. |
| Drying time too long? | Fluff filter may be dirty. Air inlet blocked or not freely accessible. Optimum ambient temperature not met. Insufficient air circulation in the room. |
| Display panel goes off and Start button flashes. | Not a fault. Energy saving mode is active. |
| Residual water in the condensate container despite the dryer being connected to the condensation drain*. | Not a fault. Residual water remains in the condensate container due to the dryer's self-cleaning function. |
| Humidity in the room increases. | Not a fault. Make sure the room is sufficiently ventilated. |
| Power cut. | The drying programme is interrupted. Remove the laundry and spread it out, or restart the programme. |
| Unusual noises when drying. | Not a fault. Noises are produced by the automatic cleaning of the heat exchanger. |
| The dryer feels cold despite drying. | Not a fault. The dryer can dry efficiently at low temperatures using a heat pump. |
