1. Select a programme: Turn the programme selector to switch the machine on/off and choose the desired wash cycle. It can be turned in both directions and cannot be turned while a programme is running.
2. Control lights: Lights indicate when a programme is selected ('On'), active ('Active'), or finished ('End'). Flashing lights indicate a fault.
3. Set spin speed: Adjust the spin speed using the selector, ensuring it clicks into place at the desired setting.
4. Additional functions: Press buttons to add functions like shortened duration, extra rinse, or crease reduction. Press again to cancel.
5. Start the wash: Press the start button to begin the selected programme.
Run a test cycle without laundry. Turn on the water tap, add about 1 litre of water and detergent to compartment II, select the '90 °C Cottons/coloureds' programme, press start, and then turn the selector to 'Off' when finished.
