Warranty Information
The product warranty is one year from the date of purchase.
- Getting Started: Read the manual carefully, especially safety precautions. Keep the booklet for future reference.
- Package Contents: Verify all accessories are included (camera body, cap, hot shoe unit, strap holders, strap, battery, AC adapter, USB cable, manual, warranty sticker). Note: memory card is not included.
- Preparation: Attach the carry strap securely. Attach the hot shoe unit HU-11 if using a flash. Charge the battery before first use.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| Nothing is displayed on the color LCD monitor. | Battery is exhausted. Replace the battery. (P.20 - 22) Camera is in LCD Off mode (P.142). Press the shutter button “half-way" or any other button. |
| The shutter does not release. | The camera is busy writing to the card. Please wait until the card busy light goes off. Card is full. Insert a new card or delete unwanted images. (P.116 - 117) |
| Autofocus does not operate. | The AF/M switch on the lens body is set to M. Set the AF/M switch on the lens to AF. (P.52) Lens is not properly mounted to the camera body. Mount the lens to the camera body correctly. (P.23) When the [Half-pressed AF-ON] is set as [Off]. Please select [On] in the [Half-pressed AF-ON] setting. (P.110) The lens being used is not compatible with auto focusing. Check whether or not the lens is compatible on our website. (P.12) |
