Switching On/Off
The camcorder turns on when the LCD monitor is opened and off when it's closed. It can also be manually switched on/off using the 'P' button when the monitor is open.Basic Settings

Charge the battery using the supplied charger or an original replacement. Charging also occurs via USB connection to a computer. Charging via charger takes about 180 minutes, and via USB about 240 minutes.Inserting SD Card and Battery
The camcorder has internal memory, but the supplied 2GB SD card is for photos and videos. SD cards can be write-protected. Ensure the battery is inserted correctly to prevent damage.Troubleshooting and error codes
