Warranty Information

The appliance has a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase covering manufacturing defects, excluding wear parts and transport damage.

To use the DVD player:

  1. Connect the DVD player to a power outlet and a television.
  2. Insert a DVD, VCD, S-VCD, CD, or USB storage device.
  3. Press the 'STANDBY' button on the remote or device to power on.
  4. Use the remote control buttons (e.g., PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP) to navigate and control playback.
  5. Access the OSD menu using the 'SETUP' button for settings like language, display, and audio.

To remove discs or memory cards, ensure the player is in DVD mode or the relevant function is deactivated before removal.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue / Display Possible Cause / Solution
Display is blank/DVD player shows no functions even though it is switched on Check power cable insertion. Ensure power socket is live. Check dimmer function. Switch off and on again.
The display shows "No Disc" even though there is a disc inserted Disc is dirty, scratched, or damaged. Clean or insert another disc. Country/Region code may not correspond.
Inserted disc will not playback Condensation on the laser scan lens. Place in a dry environment for at least one hour.
No image or Black/White image only Check cable connections. Ensure OSD menu settings match the connection variant. Check television settings.
No sound Check if mute is activated on TV/DVD player. Ensure audio cables are firmly plugged in. Check OSD menu settings for audio components. Check television settings. Check audio component settings. Ensure FRONT SPEAKER is set to LARGE if using stereo or Dolby Prologic compatible audio via analog outlet.
No 4:3 or 16:9 image Check television's supported image formats. Ensure OSD menu settings match the television's available image format.
Remote control not functioning Check battery insertion and polarity. Replace exhausted batteries. Ensure no obstacles between remote and player. Stay within 5 meters.
Playback language/ Subtitle language do not correspond to the settings in the OSD menu The selected language is not available on the inserted disc.
One or several functions can not be switched on The selected function may not be available on all DVDs/VCDs/S-VCDs.
None of the buttons on the device or on the remote control are functioning/other malfunctions Switch off and on again. Reset the DVD player to its default settings (see chapter 10.6). Contact service partner if issues persist.
Privacy Policy
