Connecting the Device: Speakers connect via terminal clamps (22, 23). Mains power connects to an outlet (26). Remote control requires 2 AAA batteries.
Backup Batteries: Insert 2 AAA batteries (24) to maintain clock and alarm settings during power outages.
Toggle the On/Off switch (25) to 'ON' to enter Standby mode. Use the On/Standby button (15 on device, 27 on remote) to power on. Press again to return to standby. To fully power off, toggle switch (25) to 'OFF'.
Use VOLUME + (11 device, 50 remote) to increase and VOLUME - (12 device, 39 remote) to decrease volume. Levels range from 1 to 39.
Press MUTE (36) to mute. Press again or adjust volume to resume.
In standby mode, press and hold CLOCK/DISPLAY (29) to toggle 12/24 hr format. Use UP (7)/DN (8) to select format. Press CLOCK/DISPLAY (29) to confirm hours, then set hours. Confirm again, then set minutes. Confirm final setting.
