Disc Playing
  1. Press POWER.
  2. Press CONTINUE.
  3. Insert disc with label side up.
  4. Close the disc compartment.
  5. Press PLAY to begin.

CD Operation Buttons

  • To stop play: Press .
  • To remove disc: Press , then remove disc, then close compartment.
  • To pause: Press II. Press again to resume.
  • To start immediately: Press after inserting disc.

Search Operation

  • AMS function: Use numeric buttons (1-20) to select track. Use / buttons to search forward or backward.
  • Index search: Press / to search for desired index number.

Advanced Operations

  • Single Play: Press SINGLE, then select track number.
  • Program Play: Press PROGRAM, then select track numbers in desired order (up to 20). Press PLAY to begin.
  • Shuffle Play: Press SHUFFLE to play tracks in random order.
  • Repeat Play: Press REPEAT to repeat single track, disc, program, or portion (A-B). Use COUNT for multiple repeats.

Troubleshooting and error codes

PROBLEM CAUSES REMEDIO
Disc compartment does not close after inserting disc and pressing button. Disc is not placed correctly. Center the disc correctly in the compartment.
Playback does not start. Disc is dirty. Clean the disc.
Disc inserted with label side down. Place with label side up.
Button is pressed. Press the button again to release.
No sound is heard. Moisture condensation has occurred. Wait approximately one hour after connecting power, then start playback.
Loose connections. Connect the cables firmly.
DIGITAL OUT switch is ON and using LINE OUT jacks. Set DIGITAL OUT switch to OFF.
The display does not light up when power is connected. Power cord is disconnected. Connect firmly to a power outlet.
Playback starts when the POWER switch is turned ON. TIMER switch is in PLAY or SHUFFLE. Set to OFF.
Recorded sound level is different from that set on the tape deck. LINE OUT/PHONE LEVEL control was turned during recording using VARIABLE LINE OUT jacks. Do not turn during recording.
