Getting Started
- Unpacking: Check that all supplied items are present.
- Hooking Up the System: Connect the CD player to an amplifier using audio cords. Ensure power is off before connecting.
- Inserting Batteries into the Remote: Insert two R6 (AA) batteries. Point remote at the player's sensor.
- Inserting CDs: Power on the player, press OPEN, turn the JOG dial to select a slot, and insert the disc with the label side facing right. Close the front cover.
Playing a CD
- Turn on the amplifier and CD player.
- Press CONTINUE to select ALL DISCS or 1 DISC mode.
- Turn the JOG dial to select the desired disc.
- Press ENTER to start playing.
Display Information
- While playing, the display shows current disc number, track number, and playing time.
To Stop Playback
- Press [STOP button].
- Use other buttons for Pause, Skip, or removing discs.
Troubleshooting and error codes
| If you experience | Check |
|---|---|
| There is no sound. | Check that the player is connected securely. Make sure you operate the amplifier correctly. |
| The CD does not play. | There is no CD in a slot. Insert a CD. Insert the CD with the label side facing right. Clean the CD. Moisture has condensed inside the player. Press OPEN and leave the player turned on for about an hour. |
| The remote does not function. | Remove obstacles between the remote and the player. Point the remote at the remote sensor. Replace batteries. Set the CD1/2/3 switch on the remote according to the COMMAND MODE selector. |
| The player functions incorrectly. | The microcomputer chips may be operating incorrectly. Disconnect the AC power cord, then connect it back to the wall outlet to reset the player. |
