Getting Started

Connecting the remote control:

  1. Press and hold the "SET" button.
  2. Press and release the "/◀" button until "CONTRL" appears.
  3. Press and hold the "SET" button.

Setting the Clock

  1. Press and hold the "CLOCK" button.
  2. Press and release the "/◀" and "▶" buttons to set the hour.
  3. Press and release the "CLOCK" button again.
  4. Press and release the "/◀" and "▶" buttons to set the minute.
  5. Press and release the "CLOCK" button.

Detaching the Front Panel

  1. Press the "/◀" button to release the front panel.
  2. Pull the front panel towards you.

Attaching the Front Panel

  1. Align the left side of the front panel with the left side of the unit.
  2. Push the front panel until it clicks into place.

Displaying

Press the "DISP" button to switch between display modes.

Radio Operation

  1. Press the "SRC" button to select "RADIO".
  2. Press the "BAND" button to select the desired band (FM1, FM2, AM).
  3. Press the "SEEK/▶▶" or "SEEK/◀◀" buttons to seek for stations automatically.
  4. Use the numeric buttons to directly tune to a station.

Preset Tuning

  1. Tune to the desired station.
  2. Press and hold one of the numeric buttons (1-6) to store the station.
  3. To recall a preset station, press the corresponding numeric button.

CD Operation

  1. Press the "SRC" button to select "CD".
  2. Insert a CD into the slot.
  3. Press "/◀" to play.
  4. Press "▶" to pause.
  5. Press "◀" to stop.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Cause Solution
No sound is heard. The unit is not powered on. Press the ◀/OFF button.
The volume is set to minimum. Adjust the volume.
The speaker cords are not connected properly. Check the speaker cord connections.
The display does not light up. The unit is not powered on. Connect the unit to the power source.
The dimmer function is set to minimum. Adjust the dimmer setting.
The CD cannot be played. The CD is inserted incorrectly. Re-insert the CD correctly.
The CD is dirty or scratched. Clean or replace the CD.
The radio reception is poor. The antenna is not extended or connected properly. Extend or connect the antenna properly.
The surrounding area has poor radio reception. Move the vehicle to a location with better reception.
