Basic Operations

Volume: Press VOLUME +,- (VOL+, on the remote).

Headphones: Connect to the (headphones) jack.

Sound Characteristic: Press SOUND repeatedly to select ROCK, POP, JAZZ, VOCAL, or OFF. Press MEGA BASS to reinforce bass.

Playing a CD/MP3 Disc

1. Press CD.
2. Open/close the CD compartment and place a disc with the label side up.
3. Press ▶▶ (forward) or ◀◀ (backward) to select tracks/files.
4. Press ▶ (play) or ■ (stop).
5. Press ■ (pause) to pause playback.

Listening to the Radio

1. Press RADIO (or BAND on remote) repeatedly to select FM or AM.
2. Hold TUNE + or - to scan for stations. Press TUNE + or - step by step for precise tuning.

Playing a Tape

1. Press TAPE.
2. Insert a TYPE I (normal) tape.
3. Press ▶ (play) to start playback.
4. Press ■ (stop) to stop playback.

Recording on a Tape

1. Press TAPE and insert a blank tape.
2. Select the source (CD or Radio).
3. Press ● (record) to start recording.
