Basic Operations
Playing a CD
- Press CD (direct power-on).
- Press PUSH OPEN/CLOSE and place a disc with the label side up on the CD compartment.
- Press Play. The player plays all the tracks once.
Selecting the play mode
Press MODE repeatedly until the desired mode appears in the display. Modes include Repeat single track, Repeat all tracks, Shuffle play, Program play.
Listening to the radio
- Press RADIO BAND AUTO PRESET repeatedly to select FM or AM.
- Hold down TUNE + or - until the frequency digits begin to change in the display to automatically scan for stations.
Playing a tape
- Press TAPE (direct power-on).
- Press PLAY, and insert the tape into the tape compartment.
- Press PLAY to start playback.
Recording on a tape
- Press PLAY to open the tape compartment and insert a blank tape.
- Select the program source (CD or radio).
- Press RECORD to start recording.
Troubleshooting and error codes
