Troubleshooting and error codes

Issue Possible Causes Solutions
Disc play does not start. The POWER switch is set to OFF. Set the POWER switch to ON.
The disc is inserted with the labeled surface face down. Insert the disc with the labeled surface face up.
The disc is incorrectly inserted. Insert the disc correctly.
Dusty or defective disc Clean or replace the disc.
Dirty or dusty lens Clean the lens.
The disc compartment lid is not closed. Close the disc compartment lid firmly.
Moisture condensation Allow the unit to acclimatize.
The ac power adaptor is not plugged to the wall outlet. Plug in the ac power adaptor.
Weak battery Replace batteries or recharge the battery pack.
The car battery cord is not firmly connected. Ensure the car battery cord is firmly connected.
No sound from headphones The headphones plug is not firmly connected to the PHONES jack. Ensure the headphones plug is firmly connected to the PHONES jack.
No sound from speakers Incorrect connections Check speaker connections.
The amplifier is not turned on. Turn on the amplifier.
Skipping of sound Dirty or defective disc Clean or replace the disc.
Dirty lens Clean the lens.
Strong vibration Place the unit on a stable surface.
