Listening to a program
  1. Connect your AV component to the transmitter.
  2. Turn on the audio/video component.
  3. Turn on the headphones.
  4. Put on the headphones, ensuring the right housing is on your right ear and the left housing on your left.
  5. Start playback of the component connected to the transmitter.
  6. Adjust the volume.
Getting Started: Inserting the Battery
  1. Open the battery compartment lid of the left housing.
  2. Insert the size AAA dry battery, matching terminals.
  3. Close the battery compartment lid.
Replacing the Ear Pads
  1. Remove the old ear pad by pulling it off.
  2. Place the new ear pad around the housing.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Problem Possible Solution
No sound/Muffled sound
  • Turn on the transmitter first, then the headphones.
  • Check the audio/video equipment and AC power adapter connection.
  • Ensure the audio/video equipment connected to the transmitter is turned on.
  • If the transmitter is connected to the headphone jack, raise the volume of the audio/video equipment.
  • The mute function is activated. Check for obstructions between the transmitter and headphones. Use headphones near the transmitter. Adjust the transmitter's position and angle.
  • The headphones' power indicator light dims, flashes, or goes off. Replace the dry battery with a new one.
Distorted sound
  • If the transmitter is connected to the headphone jack, raise the volume of the audio/video equipment.

Loud background noise
  • Move closer to the transmitter. Check for obstructions between the transmitter and headphones. Ensure infrared sensors are not covered by hands or hair.
  • If using near a window with strong sunlight, draw curtains/blinds or use headphones away from sunlight.
  • Adjust the transmitter's position or angle.
  • If the transmitter is connected to the headphone jack, raise the volume of the audio/video equipment.
