Getting Started: Reset the unit before first use or after battery changes. Set the clock by pressing MENU, selecting [SET GENERAL] > [SET CLOCK-ADJ], and adjusting the hour/minute. Prepare a Bluetooth device by pairing it with the unit (within 1m). Connect USB devices. Connect other portable audio devices to the AUX input.Listening to the Radio: Select [TUNER] source. Store stations automatically (BTM) or manually. Tune in manually or automatically using SEEK +/-. Use RDS to select program types (PTY) and manage traffic announcements (TA) and alternative frequencies (AF).Playback: Insert a disc, connect USB devices, or select [BT AUDIO] for Bluetooth playback. Control playback with the unit or directly from your iPod/iPhone.Handsfree Calling: Connect a Bluetooth-compatible cellular phone. Receive calls by pressing CALL. Reject or end calls. Make calls from the phonebook, call history, by inputting a number, or by redial.Useful Functions: Use Siri Eyes Free with compatible iPhones. Connect to the SongPal app for additional control.Settings: Cancel DEMO mode, adjust general settings (clock, beep, auto off), sound settings (ClearAudio+, EQ10 presets), display settings (dimmer, colors), and Bluetooth settings (pairing, auto pairing).

Troubleshooting and error codes

Error Message/Display Cause/Action
CD ERROR The disc cannot be played. The disc is automatically ejected. Clean the disc, insert it correctly, or check if it is empty or damaged.
CD NO MUSIC No playable files were found on the disc. The disc is automatically ejected. Insert a disc with playable files.
CD PUSH EJT The disc could not be ejected correctly. Press ⏏ (eject).
HUB NO SUPRT USB hubs are not supported.
IPD STOP iPod playback has ended. Operate your iPod/iPhone to start playback.
NO AF No alternative frequencies. Press SEEK +/- while the program service name is flashing to search for another frequency with the same Pl data. ([PI SEEK] is displayed.)
NO TP No traffic programs. The unit continues to search for available TP stations.
OVERLOAD The USB device is overloaded. Disconnect the USB device and select another source. The USB device may be malfunctioning or unsupported.
READ Reading information. Wait for playback to start automatically. This may take some time depending on the file structure.
USB ERROR The USB device cannot be played. Reconnect the USB device.
USB NO DEV No USB device is connected or recognized. Ensure the USB device or cable is connected correctly.
USB NO MUSIC No playable files were found on the USB device. Connect a USB device with playable files.
USB NO SUPRT The USB device is not supported. Visit the support site for compatibility information.
LLLL or 7777 The beginning or end of the disc has been reached.
... The character cannot be displayed.
BT BUSY The BLUETOOTH device is busy. Wait and try again.
ERROR The selected operation cannot be performed. Wait and try again.
NO DEV The BLUETOOTH device is not connected or not recognized. Check the connection and ensure BLUETOOTH connection is established with the BLUETOOTH device.
P EMPTY No phone numbers are stored.
UNKNOWN A name or phone number cannot be displayed.
WITHHELD The phone number was withheld by the caller.
APP -------- No connection to the application was made. Reconnect to "SongPal".
APP DISCNCT The application connection has been disconnected. Establish the "SongPal" connection.
APP DISPLAY The application's display setting screen is open. Close it to allow button operation.
APP LIST The content list of CD/USB/iPod is open. Close it to allow button operation.
APP MENU The application's setting screen is open. Close it to allow button operation.
APP NO DEV The device with the application installed is not connected or not recognized. Connect via BLUETOOTH and reconnect to "SongPal".
APP SOUND The application's sound setting screen is open. Close it to allow button operation.
OPEN APP The "SongPal" application is not active. Start the application.
ERROR (for Steering Remote Control) An error occurred during function registration. Restart registration from the function where the error occurred.
TIMEOUT (for Steering Remote Control) Function registration failed due to timeout. Try to complete registration while [REGISTER] is flashing.
