  • Charging and Installing the Battery Pack: Charge the battery pack using the AC power adaptor. Connect the adaptor to a wall outlet and the battery pack. Set the selector to CHARGE. Once charging is complete, remove the pack and install it on the camcorder.
  • Inserting a Cassette: Ensure a power source is connected. Slide the lid lock, lift the lid, and press EJECT. Insert the cassette with the window facing out, then close the compartment and lid.
  • Adjusting the Viewfinder Lens: Before first use, focus the viewfinder. Slide the POWER switch to CAMERA, turn STANDBY up, and adjust the viewfinder lens ring until the indicators are sharp.
  • Camera Recording: Set the POWER switch to CAMERA, turn STANDBY up, and press START/STOP. The "REC" indicator will appear. To stop momentarily, press START/STOP again. To finish, press START/STOP, turn STANDBY down, and set POWER to OFF.
