- Getting Started: Charge and install the battery pack (p.6). Insert a cassette (p.9).
- Basic Operations: Slide the POWER switch to CAMERA. Turn STANDBY up. Press START/STOP to record. Press START/STOP to pause. Turn STANDBY down and set POWER to OFF to finish recording.
- Zooming: Use the power zoom button to adjust the subject size. Press firmly for high speed, softly for slow.
- Focusing: Manual focus can be set by pressing FOCUS to MANUAL and turning the focus dial. Press PUSH AUTO to temporarily switch to autofocus.
- Playback: Slide the POWER switch to VTR. Insert tape. Press PLAY. Use tape transport buttons for control.
