Basic Operation
Powering On: Connect a power source (battery pack or AC adapter) and set the POWER switch to CAMERA or VTR.
Recording: Set the STANDBY switch to STANDBY, then press the START/STOP button. The REC indicator will light. To stop, press START/STOP again.
Playback: Set the POWER switch to VTR, set the STANDBY switch to STANDBY, then press the playback button (▷).
Using the Viewfinder: Adjust the viewfinder lens using the ring for a clear image. The viewfinder displays recording status, indicators, and settings.
Inserting Cassettes: Open the cassette compartment lid, press EJECT, and insert the cassette with the window facing out. Close the compartment and lid.
