Manual for CCD-TR517

This section introduces basic features for quick operation.

1. Connecting the power cord: Use the battery pack for outdoor use or connect the AC power adapter.
2. Inserting a cassette: Slide EJECT to open, insert the cassette with the window facing out, and close the compartment.
3. Recording a picture: Set POWER to CAMERA, turn STANDBY to STANDBY, and press START/STOP to begin recording.
4. Monitoring playback: Set POWER to PLAYER, press REW to rewind, and press PLAY to start playback.

Using this manual: Buttons and settings are in capital letters. Beep indicates operation. Note on TV color systems requires NTSC. Respect copyright laws.

Precautions on camcorder care: Avoid moisture, extreme temperatures, and pointing the viewfinder at the sun. Clean with a soft cloth.
