Getting Started:

1. Install & Charge Battery: Ensure the InfoLITHIUM battery pack is installed and charged before use. Follow image guides for installation and charging via AC adapter.

2. Insert Cassette: Open the cassette compartment, insert an 8mm or Hi8 cassette with the window facing out, and close the compartment.

Basic Operations:

Camera Recording:

• Set POWER to CAMERA, turn STANDBY up to STANDBY.
• Press START/STOP to begin recording. Press again to stop.
• Use the LCD screen or viewfinder to frame shots.
• Zoom: Use the power zoom lever (W for wide, T for telephoto).
• START/STOP Modes: Select Normal, Anti Ground Shooting, or 5SEC mode for different recording behaviors.

Playing Back a Tape:

• Set POWER to VTR.
• Insert tape, press PLAY. Use REW or FF for navigation.
• Monitor playback on LCD screen or viewfinder.
