Getting Started:

• Check supplied items (p. 9).
• Charge the battery pack (p. 10).
• Turn on the camcorder and hold it firmly using the strap (p. 13).
• Adjust the LCD panel and viewfinder for clear viewing (p. 14).
• Use the touch panel for playback and settings adjustments (p. 15).
• Set the date and time (p. 16).
• Insert a mini DV cassette (p. 17).

Recording/Playback:

• Easy Handycam Operation: Automatically adjusts settings for simple use. Press the EASY button (p. 18-19).
• Recording: Slide the power switch to CAMERA, then press REC START/STOP to record movies or use the PHOTO button for still images (p. 20).
• Playback: Slide the power switch to PLAY/EDIT, then touch the playback controls to play back recordings (p. 21).
