Getting Started:

  • Powering the Camcorder: Connect the AC power adaptor or use the rechargeable battery pack (NP-FM50). Ensure the battery is charged before first use.
  • Inserting a Cassette: Slide the OPEN/EJECT lever, insert the Mini DV cassette with the window facing out, and close the compartment.
  • Recording: Remove the lens cap, set the POWER switch to CAMERA, open the LCD panel, and press START/STOP to begin recording. Press START/STOP again to stop.
