- Charging the battery pack: Connect the AC adapter to the camcorder and a wall outlet. The CHG lamp indicates charging status.
- Turning the camcorder on and setting date/time: Open the LCD screen. Press POWER. Select your geographical area and then set the date and time.
- Recording movies: Fasten the grip belt, open the lens cover, and open the LCD screen. Press START/STOP to begin and end recording.
- Shooting photos: Open the lens cover and LCD screen. Press MODE to turn on the Photo lamp. Press PHOTO lightly to focus, then fully to capture.
- Playback: Open the LCD screen and press VIEW IMAGES. Select the desired movie or photo from the VISUAL INDEX screen.
