Getting Started

  1. Charging the Battery Pack: Attach the battery pack and connect the AC adaptor to the camcorder and a wall outlet. The CHG lamp indicates charging status.
  2. Turning the Power On and Setting Date/Time: Open the LCD screen to turn on the camcorder. Follow on-screen prompts to select the geographical area and set the date and time.
  3. Preparing the Recording Media: Select the recording media (internal memory or memory card) for movies and photos via the MENU settings. Ensure the memory card is inserted correctly.

Recording Movies

  1. Slide the lens cover switch to open.
  2. Fasten the grip belt.
  3. Open the LCD screen to turn on the camcorder.
  4. Press START/STOP to begin recording. The status indicators will appear briefly.
  5. Press START/STOP again to stop recording.
