Connecting the Power: Use the AC power adapter for extended use or the battery pack for outdoor operation. Charge the battery pack fully before first use.
Inserting a Cassette: Slide the OPEN/EJECT lever, insert the mini DV cassette into the compartment, and close it securely.
Recording: Remove the lens cap. Set the POWER switch to CAMERA. Open the LCD panel. Press START/STOP to begin recording; press it again to stop.
Monitoring Playback: Set the POWER switch to VTR. Rewind the tape if necessary. Press PLAY to start playback. Use the LCD screen or viewfinder to view footage.
Troubleshooting and error codes
