Getting Started

  1. Checking supplied items: Verify all accessories like AC adapter, battery pack, cables, and remote are present. Memory cards are sold separately.
  2. Attaching lens hood: Align marks and twist to lock. Release with the button.
  3. Charging battery pack: Connect battery to camcorder, AC adapter to camcorder DC IN jack, and power cord to AC adapter and wall outlet. Set POWER switch to OFF(CHG). Charging time varies by battery model.
  4. Turning on camcorder: Slide POWER switch to ON while pressing the green button. First-time use prompts CLOCK SET.
  5. Holding camcorder: Ensure a good grip and fasten the grip belt.
  6. Adjusting LCD panel and viewfinder: Open LCD panel and rotate. Adjust viewfinder clarity with the lens adjustment lever.
  7. Setting date and time: Access MENU, select (OTHERS), then [CLOCK SET]. Set area, daylight saving, year, month, day, hour, and minute.
