Getting Started

1. Access the Sony support page: http://www.sony.net/SonyInfo/Support/

2. Select your country or region.

3. Search for your camcorder model name (check the bottom of the camcorder).

Charging the Battery Pack

1. Turn off the camcorder, attach the battery pack.

2. Pull out the Built-in USB Cable.

3. Connect the AC Adaptor to the camcorder via the USB connection support cable and plug into a wall outlet. The POWER/CHG lamp turns orange while charging and off when fully charged.

Turning the Power On

1. Open the LCD monitor to turn on the camcorder.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to set language, date, and time.

Inserting a Memory Card

1. Open the cover and insert the memory card until it clicks.

2. Select MENU > [Setup] > [Media Settings] > [Media Select] > [Memory Card] to set it as the recording medium.

Recording Movies

1. Open the LCD monitor and press START/STOP to begin recording.

2. Press START/STOP again to stop recording.
