Getting Started:

• Step 1: Checking Supplied Items: Verify all accessories are present (AC Adaptor, power cord, battery pack, etc.).
• Step 2: Charging the Battery Pack: Connect the AC Adaptor to the camcorder or Handycam Station and plug into a power outlet. The charge lamp indicates charging status.
• Step 3: Turning Power On and Setting Date/Time: Press the power switch. Follow on-screen prompts to set geographical area, daylight saving time, and the current date/time.
• Step 4: Making Setting Adjustments: Adjust the LCD panel for optimal viewing. Consider turning off the LCD backlight to save battery. Change the language setting if needed.
• Step 5: Selecting the Media: Choose between the internal hard disk or a "Memory Stick PRO Duo" for recording movies and still images.
