Getting Started
- Step 1: Charging the battery pack: Connect AC Adaptor to Handycam Station, connect power cord to AC Adaptor and wall outlet, set POWER switch to OFF (CHG), attach battery pack, and set camcorder onto Handycam Station.
- Step 2: Turning the power on, and setting the date and time: Press green button, turn POWER switch until respective lamp lights up, touch HOME -> SETTINGS -> CLOCK/A LANG -> CLOCK SET, select geographical area, set date and time, then touch OK.
- Step 3: Selecting the media: Touch HOME -> MANAGE MEDIA. Select MOVIE MEDIA SET and PHOTO MEDIA SET to choose between HDD or Memory Stick.
Recording/Playback
- Recording: Turn POWER switch until respective lamp lights up. Press START/STOP for movies or PHOTO for still images.
- Playback: Turn POWER switch on. Press VIEW IMAGES. Select movie or still image to play.
Performing various functions - "HOME” and "OPTION"
- HOME MENU: Used to change operating settings.
- OPTION MENU: Displays menu items that can be changed in the current situation.
Troubleshooting
- Check the table for solutions to common problems. If the issue persists, disconnect power and contact Sony support.
