Before Use

After purchasing the PMW-350K/350L Solid-State Memory Camcorder, it is necessary to set the area of use before operating. (Unless this setting is made, the camcorder will not operate.)

Note: Before attaching or removing optional components or accessories, turn the camcorder power off.

Using the CD-ROM

Two CD-ROMs are supplied: one for manuals (PDF) and one for utility software (SxS Device Driver, XDCAM EX Clip Browsing Software). Ensure Adobe Reader is installed to view manuals.

Locations and Functions of Parts and Controls

The manual details the various buttons, connectors, and switches on the camcorder, including:

  • Power Supply: LIGHT switch, POWER switch, DC IN connector, DC OUT connector, Battery attachment shoe.
