The monitor supports VESA Display Power Management Signaling. Power saving modes are activated by the host computer terminating sync signals. Blanking video must precede sync signal termination. The elapsed time counter is also controlled by the host computer. Reactivation is done by re-establishing normal sync signals.
In case of failure, the STANDBY/TIMER lamp flashes to indicate the problem. Multiple errors are indicated by the first problem area.
