Getting Started

Step 1: Check Package Contents
Unpack the phone and accessories. Ensure all items are present.

Step 2: Set up Base Phone
Choose the best location, connect the base phone to power and phone line, and select the dialing mode (tone/pulse).

Step 3: Prepare Battery Pack
Insert the battery pack into the handset and charge for over 12 hours.

Basics

Making Calls: Pick up handset, press TALK, dial number, press OFF or replace handset.

Receiving Calls: Hear ring, press TALK or pick up handset. Press OFF or replace handset when done.

Redialing: Press TALK (handset) or SPEAKERPHONE (base), then REDIAL/PAUSE.

Troubleshooting and error codes

Making Calls: Five short error beeps are heard when pressing TALK.Check if the base unit is installed correctly (page 8).
Move the handset closer to the base phone.
Place the handset on the base phone for a while to re-establish the random security code.
Check if the telephone line cord is securely connected to the telephone outlet.
Making Calls: No dial tone is heard.Check if the battery is fully charged (page 11).
Check if the dialing mode has been selected correctly (page 10).
Making Calls: The phone does not connect at all, even if the number dialed is correct.Before dialing, make sure you have heard the dial tone.
Making Calls: The phone does not redial correctly.Check if the last dialed number is actually the intended one.
Receiving Calls: The handset does not ring.Check if the call generator is activated (page 23).
The battery is weak. Charge it for more than 12 hours (page 11).
Check if the base phone is installed correctly (page 8).

Speed Dialing: Cannot make a speed dialing call.You have entered a dialing key that does not contain a stored phone number.
Speed Dialing: Speed dialing is incorrect.Store a correct number (page 20).
Power Source/Battery: Handset does not ring when called from the base phone.The handset may be busy with a conversation.
The battery is weak. Charge it for more than 12 hours (page 11).

Power Source/Battery: The CHARGE lamp does not light up when placing the handset to charge the battery.Clean the charging terminals of the base phone and handset with a soft cloth to improve contact.

Power Source/Battery: Battery life is short.The battery was charged for less than 12 hours (due to a power failure, etc.).
